So we say goodbye to another year, and usher in a new one.

2015 has been great to me. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit eight different countries, go on placement at the Liverpool ECHO, continued to enjoy university, got to see the New York Jets play at Wembley Stadium, met some great new people and started off a project that will keep me occupied for a long time – this very travel blog.

It’s such a shame that I am working both New Year’s Eve evening and New Year’s Day morning, but there’s plenty more to look forward to this year.

It all kicks off next week, when I will be heading to Oslo, Norway – the first of nine countries I’ll be setting foot in over the next five months – and there will definitely more to follow.

Then there’s graduation (which I still have to make sure I work hard towards), deciding between entering the world of work or pursuing a masters degree, hopefully cheering on Everton and the Jets in the Capital One Cup final and Super Bowl, respectively, and much, much more.

And please keep following my travel blog here at Travelling Tom. I really appreciate the support I’ve received so far and I am endeavouring to bring you a wider and more diverse range of content over the next 12 months. I’m really excited to show you what I have in store!

I wish each and every one of you a happy and healthy 2016!

All the best for the new year.

Tom
